Industrial Gate Valve

Rising Stem · Wedge Disc · DN50–DN2000 · PN10/16/25/40

Reguvale's industrial gate valves are designed for reliable isolation in demanding water, oil, gas and power applications. The rising stem design gives a clear visual indication of open/closed position, while the wedge disc provides tight sealing with low operating torque.

Body materials include carbon steel WCB, stainless steel SS304/SS316 and ductile iron, with flanged ends to ISO 7005-2 / EN 1092-2 / ASME B16.5. Seat and disc facing options include brass, stainless steel, stellite and resilient rubber for bubble-tight shut-off. The valves can be supplied with handwheel, chainwheel, gearbox, electric actuator or pneumatic actuator depending on your automation needs.

Every valve is hydrostatically tested at the factory for shell and seat leakage, and can be supplied with material test certificates (MTC) and third-party inspection reports.

Key Features

Full Bore, Low Pressure Drop

The straight-through passage minimises flow resistance when fully open, making gate valves ideal for pipelines and pumping stations.

Rising Stem Visual Indicator

The stem rises as the valve opens, giving operators a clear visual confirmation of open/closed position.

Wedge Disc Sealing

Solid, flexible or split wedge designs adapt to seat misalignment and provide tight shut-off in high-pressure service.

Flexible Operation

Options include handwheel, chainwheel, bevel gearbox, multi-turn electric actuator and scotch-yoke pneumatic actuator.

Resilient Seat Option

Rubber-lined resilient seated gate valves deliver bubble-tight isolation for clean water and wastewater applications.

Factory Pressure Tested

Shell and seat hydrostatic tests performed at our Tianjin factory; MTC and third-party inspection available.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of gate valves does Reguvale supply?

We supply rising stem gate valves, non-rising stem gate valves, wedge gate valves, resilient seated gate valves, knife gate valves and flanged gate valves in carbon steel WCB, stainless steel SS304/SS316 and ductile iron.

Common questions about industrial gate valves answered by our engineering team.

What sizes and pressure ratings are available?

Our gate valves cover DN50 to DN2000 with pressure ratings PN10, PN16, PN25 and PN40. ANSI 150 lb and 300 lb flange drilling are available on request.

Can gate valves be operated by electric or pneumatic actuators?

Yes. We can fit multi-turn electric actuators or scotch-yoke pneumatic actuators to rising stem and non-rising stem gate valves for remote operation. Manual handwheel, chainwheel and gearbox options are also available.

What industries use Reguvale gate valves?

Gate valves are widely used in water treatment and distribution, oil and gas pipelines, power plants, chemical processing, HVAC systems, marine and industrial process lines where full-bore, low-pressure-drop isolation is required.

Applications & Use Cases

Water Treatment & Distribution

Isolation valves in treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs and transmission mains.

Oil & Gas Pipelines

Full-bore isolation for crude oil, refined products and natural gas transmission lines.

Power Plants

Steam, condensate, cooling water and feedwater isolation in thermal and combined-cycle plants.

Industrial Process Lines

Chemical, petrochemical, steel and paper plants requiring reliable on/off isolation.
